The purpose of “English Language Learners” (ELL) ministry is to reveal God’s glory as we teach people the English Language and help them learn and develop the language skills needed that are so necessary to function effectively in an English speaking community.

Our students are placed in classes from Introduction to Advanced levels (4 Levels). We also have Citizenship and HiSET classes. (HiSET classes replaced GED as of June 1st, 2016, in Tennessee and stands for High School Equivalency Test)
If you would like to join the English classes, fill out the registration form below.
Classes will begin on January 11, 2024 at Springfield Baptist Church
400 N. Main Street, Springfield, TN 37172
Morning classes: 9:00 - 11:00 am
Evening classes: 6:00 - 8:00 pm
Testing will be done the first day of classes. Each student will receive a set of two books in the class level tested for a charge of $40.00

This dear sweet lady and her husband were the founders of our ELL Program in 1999. They have both gone to their reward in heaven. We shall never forget you Mr. and Mrs. Grossman. We give God all the Glory and Honor for this ELL mission!
